My name is Robert Kerr and I am originally from Buffalo, New York. I earned a Bachelor's Degree in History from Canisius College in the Winter of 2011. I continued my path to education by earning a Master's  Degree in Adolescent Education, also from Canisius College.  Along with earning my degree in New York, I completed requirements to become a New York State Certified Teacher.

I began my teaching career by relocating to Northern Virginia, where I again transferred my New York State License to Virginia and also earned a Special Education License from George Mason University.  I look to use my diverse and strong background in History, Adolescent Education and Special Education to meet the needs of all of my students.

Introduction

Welcome to Mr. Kerr's website and virtual key to the classroom where educational and social development go hand in hand. My focus on academics and the whole child means that every child will find a happy home here.

I am beginning my first year at West Potomac High School and am really excited! I look forward to working with great students and staff to produce future leaders for our community.

On this website you will be able to find links to great resources.  I yearn to make learning fun and easy.  I hope that my continuing research for the best possible teaching practices will aid all of my students.
